Year 6 Buddy Program

Our Year 6 Buddy Program pairs each Kindergartner with a supportive older student to help them settle into school life. Children meet their buddies during Kindergarten orientation and spend time with them during the first two weeks of school. This program helps young learners become familiar with the school environment, build friendships, and develop a sense of belonging.

Buddies also model positive behaviours, support routines, and provide a friendly face throughout the early weeks of school, helping Kindergartners feel confident, safe, and connected from day one.
